Bio of Executive Director, Timothy Gleason

Mr. Gleason was appointed Executive Director of Community Service Alliance in December 2010 and is responsible for leading the programmatic, financial, development and administrative management of the not-for-profit agency.

Mr. Gleason is experienced in strategic planning, business development, public and media relations, legislative and government affairs, and fundraising and development.  He is an experienced senior executive with an excellent record of leadership and success with a variety of diverse and complex organizations.  Mr. Gleason has well-developed skills in operations, budgeting and financial management, and has a proven ability to connect strong financial results to enhanced mission and program services.

Mr. Gleason has more than 15 years of experience in both not-for-profit and corporate settings, holding executive and senior-level positions with a local chapter of Big Brothers Big Sisters, a local Goodwill organization, a large integrated health care system, a mid-sized community hospital, an international market research company, and a Top 250 law firm.

Mr. Gleason received his master’s degree from the University of Baltimore and bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.  He is also a graduate of the Executive Development Program offered through Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Maryland.
